Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you’ll do in the role:Responsibilities  • Strategic COO Support  • Partner closely with the Risk Analytics COO to execute global and regional strategic initiatives.  • Lead the development of executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and regulators.  • Oversee operational processes including headcount planning, budget management, and resource allocation.  • Support the Mumbai Risk Analytics team on activities such as hiring, coordinating visits of senior global stakeholders, and internal team activities.    Regulatory Project Leadership  • Manage complex regulatory projects across jurisdictions, including capital adequacy, stress testing, and model risk governance.  • Ensure compliance with global and local regulatory requirements (e.g., PRA, ECB).  • Coordinate with Risk Governance and Regulatory Relations teams to interpret and implement new regulations.  • Maintain robust documentation and audit readiness for regulatory reviews and inspections.    Governance, Risk & Controls  • Strengthen governance frameworks and control environments across Risk Analytics.  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), control effectiveness, and compliance metrics.  • Support implementation of risk management tools and systems to enhance transparency and oversight.    Stakeholder Engagement  • Collaborate with global Risk Analytics teams, Risk Governance, and other control functions.  • Act as a key liaison between Mumbai, EMEA, and global stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.  • Represent Risk Analytics in internal governance forums and regulatory working groups.What you’ll bring to the role:Qualifications & Skills  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.  • 9+ years of experience in risk management, regulatory project leadership, or COO support roles within financial services.  • Strong understanding of global and regional regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III/IV, CRR/CRD, EGIM, SS1/23).  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects.  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management and data visualization tools is desirable e.g. JIRA.  • Familiarity with risk analytics, capital models, and stress testing methodologies is highly desirable.
