What this job involves
This position involves executing complex facilities projects while providing superior client service and delivering world-class project management activities. The role requires managing multiple phases of project development from planning through closure, ensuring all projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and achieving high client satisfaction ratings.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Execute and implement multidiscipline and complex facilities projects from initiation to closure
• Provide professional project planning support including budgeting, scheduling, design oversight, and contracting
• Ensure quality and timely delivery from contractors through active oversight and relationship management
• Handle administrative processes including purchase order requisitions, sourcing requests, vendor selection, and goods received inclusion
• Provide comprehensive project documentation including meeting minutes, work orders, contracts, change orders, and status updates
• Participate in bidding process documentation and maintain vendor close-out procedures
• Forecast and manage assigned project budgets to meet financial targets
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 5+ years of project management experience in facilities or construction projects
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both verbal and written communication)
• Proven analytical and critical thinking skills with problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, and email systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and meet financial targets
• Strong work ethic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• Experience with vendor selection and procurement processes
• Knowledge of construction and facilities management industry standards
• Previous experience achieving client satisfaction ratings and KPIs
• Familiarity with contract negotiation and change order management
• Experience with asset capitalization and financial forecasting
• Background in conflict resolution and stakeholder management
