Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and drive new product development by collaborating with some of the most innovative and diverse people across functions. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Clarify project scope with project champions and key stakeholders
- Leading cross-functional project team(s) to successful completion of projects
- Building up working breakdown sheet with detailed action items and timeline for execuation
- Generating communication plans and executing team members to complete phase deliverables on time with achieved quality
- Leveraging global resources to support the new product development from prototype design to mass production, across the business including Mkt, lab, Mfg ESC...
- Maintaining expertise to carry out project leadership duties and to effectively leverage a network of company and industry resources.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
>3 years of experience in project management, new product commercialization or leadership roles related with product development
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
LSS Black Belt or PMP certification
Innovative, resourceful, organized, and a self-starter with excellent handwritten and oral communication skills with analytical problem-solving ability (Fluent oral and written English)
Strong leadership abilities to coordinate work without a supervisory role
Collaborative interpersonal style with experience in leading large cross functional project team
Proficient in identifying and escalating project-related risks and issues to leadership or stakeholders following established reporting and escalation paths
